Artist Statement

Ayse Bayram

My art is an exploration of the phenomenological layers of the human mind and the fluid nature of the subconscious. By merging the discipline of traditional techniques with a surrealist imagination, I visualize the emotional transformations that begin where words fail.
For me, the unpredictable movement of water and pigment on paper represents a medium for capturing the soul's fleeting reflections and the flow of thoughts within the mind. Each piece invites the viewer to their own inner journey and the resonance of their silent cries, at that unique point where reality is inverted.
